On a warm day on the cusp of Fall, my buds Marie Pfisterer and Patrizia Bruno and I took off from Biarritz, France for a few nights surf- camp- off road adventure through the desert in the Basque region of Spain.
Billabong Women’s Europe put together this amazing blog including images from our adventure and interviews with the three of us.

The images follow Marie and Patrizia as we ripped through the desert in Marie’s coolest faded- yellow 4x4 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser. We set up a table in the middle of the desert at our camp and drank wine, ate food and told stories under the stars.
The next day, after a sleep cuddled together in our tent, we adventured in Bardenas, Spain. After a few hours driving through and exploring the barren landscape (and creating some beautiful imagery) we went to check surf in Zarautz, Spain (the waves were flat but we ended the day with delicious Patata and vino blanco). Then the girls caught some tiny, but fun waves in French Basque Country… I swam out and took some photos.
