Hi Hey Hello Magazine released Issue 006 this October 2022. HiHeyHello is a twice-yearly print magazine celebrating women’s outdoor culture, sitting at the intersection of adventure, sport, and creativity.
I’m beyond grateful and honored that they chose one of my images to represent this issue in such a huge way, as the cover shot.
Thanks to @anya_miller and @saharad for the opportunity for the cover and the feature within the pages. Thank you for the amazing work you’re doing to amplify untold stories and bring more representation of the underrepresented in the outdoor & surf industries. It’s really important work on so many levels.

Google released Project Skate, a new technology that tracks and quantifies athletes movements when they are skating. “Project Skate is helping to change the face of skateboarding with machine learning.”
Thanks to ThinkLess Studio I was brought on as photographer to capture Olympic Gold medal winner in women’s skateboarding, Sky Brown, testing out the new technology at a backyard ramp in Sky’s hometown near Oceanside, California.

In September 2022 as I passed through Paris, I connected with co-leaders of Swirl Paris (the French chapter of GrlSwirl, a female skate community based in Venice, California) Pauline and Ambre.

Read MoreCollage kit collaboration with Sun and Loom
San Diego brand, Sun and Loom, commissioned 75 photographs to build their Daydream collage kit. It launched March 23rd, for sale on their website and select boutique floors.
What is a collage kit? Think of it as an interactive coffee table book.
Remember those angsty high-school days where we expressed ourselves by ripping out magazine pages and sticking them to our walls? Oh, you didn’t do that. Cool…. cool. Well, at least you know someone who did.
A collage kit is the adult, more curated version of this.
This collage kit in particular is comprised of 75 images I’ve captured over the past few years (on film and digital), printed on 8.5 x 11 recycled paper with soy ink (and 10% of the proceeds go to the Honnold Foundation).
Daydream enthusiasts are encouraged to transform their spaces with this kit in whichever way their creative mind desires. I’ve enjoyed hanging the images in various arrangements in different rooms, framed some, and gifting a few prints to friends.

About the Collection
This photographic collection encapsulates timeless adventures; friends surf deserted breaks in tropical water and relish lazy moments nestled against the sandstone sea-cliffs in my California backyard.
The Daydream Collage Kit takes you on a journey along the Southern California coastline to remote beaches throughout Mexico.
Feel the California sun on your face, warm sand between your toes, and the thrill of catching a perfect wave. Transport yourself into authentic moments of freedom.
This curated collection provides relaxing escapism wherever and however you choose to display it- in a bedroom, office, or meditation corner. Transform your familiar spaces into a daydream.

It doesn’t storm often in coastal Southern California. When it did, I wanted to take advantage of it. Mind you, jumping into the ocean, nude, when it’s 55 degrees Fahrenheit with scattered showers is a big ask to fair-weather friends. Luckily, best-friends Henny Rau (@henny_rau) and Chloé Bleue (@chloe.bleue) felt invigorated by the chance to create some seaside memories in Encinitas, California. All images shot on Kodak T-Max 3200 (pulled to 1600iso), 35mm film on my Canon Ae-1 and Kodak Portra 800 on a Pentax IQZoom 80-E point and shoot. I incorporated the use of some handheld prisms.
