It doesn’t storm often in coastal Southern California. When it did, I wanted to take advantage of it. Mind you, jumping into the ocean, nude, when it’s 55 degrees Fahrenheit with scattered showers is a big ask to fair-weather friends. Luckily, best-friends Henny Rau (@henny_rau) and Chloé Bleue (@chloe.bleue) felt invigorated by the chance to create some seaside memories in Encinitas, California. All images shot on Kodak T-Max 3200 (pulled to 1600iso), 35mm film on my Canon Ae-1 and Kodak Portra 800 on a Pentax IQZoom 80-E point and shoot. I incorporated the use of some handheld prisms. See: femininity, light play, movement, nature, female form.
